Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Agricultural Parts Assistant to join our busy parts/stores team . The successful candidate will report to the parts manager and be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of our busy parts department. The role will include:
- Sourcing/ordering parts for customers and our busy workshop
- Answering phone calls and dealing with part enquiries
- Creating purchase orders / booking out parts
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
- Stock control and management
- Utilise the functionality of our dealer management software
- Maintain the highest customer relationships and keep a high level of customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience in agricultural/parts sector
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer systems (software specific training given)
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work well under pressure
- Mechanical knowledge to identify and understand agricultural parts
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
This role can be full time or part time, with flexibility to suit the successful candidate.
