They are National Law Firm offices across the East Midlands and East Anglia. The firm is one of the top agricultural law practices in the country. The Agricultural team is highlighted in leading legal directories including The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. They stand out as agricultural experts and are up to speed on specialist areas including share farming, producer organisations, poultry production and the way the farm subsidy regime impacts farm structures and cropping arrangements. Job Duties: The firm is looking to hire an Agricultural Paralegal with either Agricultural experience, or Residential Conveyancing /Commercial Property experience.
- Managing sales and purchases of farmland
- Supporting on tenancy matters
- Producing legal documents
- Drafting of basic deeds, documents, and letters
- Deal with client enquiries / matters
- File closure, archiving, retrieval and return from storage as required
- Operate case management system
- Maintain client relationship
- Have a minimum of 2 years\' experience as either an Agricultural Paralegal, Residential Conveyancing experience or Commercial Property experience.
- Have excellent communication skills in order to explain legal matters clearly to clients
- Be discrete and have the ability to respect client confidentiality
- Have enthusiasm and willing to learn
- If you do not have agricultural law experience, you must have a strong passion to work in this area of law
