About the Job
As an Agricultural Liaison Officer, your role will be pivotal in facilitating the smooth running of infrastructure projects where they meet agricultural interests and operations. Your responsibilities will include the management of wayleave agreements and other associated legal documents with farmers, landowners, and utility companies, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure efficient land and resource management. You\'ll need to develop and maintain strong relationships with local farmers and regulatory authorities, and resolve disputes and address concerns related to utilities, land use, and compensation when these arise.
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you\'ll be an experienced Agricultural Liaison Officer, with a number of years\' experience in a comparable role. Our client will also consider candidates from the agricultural sector with an interest in the utility and infrastructure worlds. A degree in agriculture, land management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is essential, and specialized knowledge of utility infrastructure, wayleaves, and relevant regulations would be highly desirable. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential along with exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
