Agricultural Engineer

Job Role

Our client based near Wisbech are currently looking for an Agricultural Engineer to join their experienced Engineering team. This is a great opportunity for the right person to build a rewarding career in agriculture and its related industries.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain agricultural machinery in their fully equipped workshop.
• Provide excellent customer service as required.
• Recent and relevant experience in a similar role i.e. Agricultural, Horticultural or Construction engineering etc.
• Demonstrate and install machinery where needed.
• Take ownership and responsibility for specific tasks.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness, tidiness and safety of your work.
• Travel to local customers sites in the surrounding area to service and repair machinery.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. (Training provide on existing franchises).
• Qualification in Engineering at Level 2/3 advantageous (equivalent qualification in HGV, Plant or Construction useful)
• Good communication with a wide range of customers and colleagues.
• Able to undergo any additional training to further develop and update your skillset.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn and flexibility to work overtime during busy periods.
• Strong problem-solving ethic and capable of working to deadlines.
• A valid UK driving license.

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
• Up to \xc2\xa320/hour DOE
• 40 Hours per week
• Overtime available at 1.5
• Company van for commuting
