Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering projects within a busy
CAA Approved Design Organisation
Develop fully compliant and approved design solutions
Verify design artefacts to ensure regulatory compliance
Create CAD models and produce detailed engineering drawings
Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Support and mentor junior team members, sharing technical guidance and best practices
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in
Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
Substantial design engineering experience, ideally with
project leadership
responsibilities
Familiar with civil and/or military aviation regulations (advantageous)
Proficient in
CAD software
and technical drawing production
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
Team-oriented with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality
Understanding of business and engineering management principles
