Job Description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced social worker to work within the adult\'s service, in South East. You will assist in providing exceptional service where the protection of adults is at the centre of all we do. To apply you must be HCPC registered and have a social work or other professional qualification e.g. DipSW, CQSW, BASW.

You will be working alongside a friendly and dynamic team who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. This experience will put you in good stead to further your career in social work, developing your skills and reputation within the sector.

The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent communication skills, and record accurate data on their cases, with a good knowledge of relevant legislature. You should understand the philosophies and legal framework of professional social work.

You will be expected to devise individual care plans and assess, monitor and review the social care needs of the adult you\'re working with. You\'ll conduct interviews with individuals and families to assess and review their situation and write up reports on your findings which meet specified standards and timescales. It\'s necessary to maintain accurate records and, in some cases, prepare reports for legal action.

You should take appropriate action in conjunction with other agencies whilst managing your agreed caseload, alongside monitoring, reviewing and reassessing the care services undertaken.
