Adults Learning Disabilities \xe2\x80\x93 West Midlands \xe2\x80\x93 Work in a Supportive Autism Service
NonStop\xe2\x80\x99s client, a local authority in the West Midlands, is currently seeking experienced Social Workers to join their Autism Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small but supportive team that focuses on young adults with complex needs, including those with autism, learning difficulties, and individuals who require signposting to promote their independence.
As a team, we are committed to building on the strengths of the people we work with. Using the 3 Conversations approach, our workers are supported to look at creative ways of meeting the identified needs of young adults, ensuring they have maximum choice and control over their lives.
In this role, you will be based in the office for two days a week and will attend visits out in the community for the rest of the week. You will have the opportunity to work directly with adults with learning disabilities and build relationships with older people and their families in the long term to work towards positive outcomes. This means you will have more job satisfaction by seeing the impact of your work from start to finish.
We understand the importance of having manageable caseloads and reducing workload stress. Our aim is to reduce caseloads from the low 20s to around 15, giving you more time to focus individually on the adults at hand.
Pay rate : \xc2\xa332.00 per hour
Hybrid remote working!
This is a rolling contract position, offering you more consistency within your income. We have had locums work in the service for over 12 months in the past, allowing them to apply for mortgages and have stability in their work.
You will be supported by a permanent management team, most of whom have permanent contracts. Our experienced managers will provide you with guidance and support, ensuring you have continuous development opportunities within your role.
