We are currently looking for an Adult\'s Social Worker for Neath Port Talbot Council with an amazing pay rate of \xc2\xa338 an hour.

The Social Services and Housing Directorate provides a wide range of services to adult in need and their carers. As a social worker/senior social worker within the Directorate you will play a key role in assessing the needs of individuals, arranging suitable support packages based on identified outcomes of the individual , identify appropriate resources to meet those outcomes and keeping under regular and systematic review the extent to which outcomes are being delivered.

We are looking for experienced Social Workers who have the right attitude to join our workforce in NPT and help cover maternity leave, secondments and sick leave. We are looking for practitioners who can work alongside our staff in delivering a high quality service that is focused on a strengths based, preventative model rather than crisis management.

We are currently operating a hybrid model, with most staff working from home however visits to the families open to the Service are being undertaken face to face. We have risk assessments in place to protect staff from COVID 19 and offer appropriate PPE.

Required -

Social Work Degree (or equivalent)

Social Care Wales Registration

Enhanced DBS on Update Service (can help with this if needed)
