Adult Learning Service
Bury Adult Learning Service is one of the key providers of adult and community learning in the borough of Bury. We were rated as Good by Ofsted in November 2021, who noted that we \xe2\x80\x9cput the learner and the community at the heart of everything (we) do.\xe2\x80\x9d
We are looking for innovative and inspirational tutors to join our team for the 2023-24 academic year in the following subjects
\xc2\xb7 English (2 posts)
\xc2\xb7 ESOL (3 posts)
\xc2\xb7 ICT & Digital Skills
\xc2\xb7 Maths
\xc2\xb7 Cookery
\xc2\xb7 Independent Living for Learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities
You\xe2\x80\x99ll need
\xc2\xb7 A recognised teaching qualification at a minimum of Level 4 for English, ESOL and Maths positions and at Level 3 for all other positions (e.g. Education & Training, PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLS, PGCE/PGDE).
\xc2\xb7 A relevant subject-related qualification at a minimum of Level 2 (e.g. GCSE, A-level, degree, vocational qualifications, etc)
\xc2\xb7 Good organisational skills to ensure effective planning, preparation and delivery of excellent teaching, and to maintain accurate learner records.
\xc2\xb7 The flexibility to work a range of working patterns, including some evenings
