About the Role
We're looking for a well-organised and proactive
Exams and Student Administrator
to join our friendly and supportive team at PA Media Academy. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of exams, student onboarding, and maintaining high standards in our training facilities.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Cannon Street office in central London, where most of our training is delivered in person.
PA Media Academy work within the Safer Recruitment process and guidelines when hiring.
What You'll Do
Coordinate all PA Media Academy exams, including remote assessments, managing logistics, invigilators, and technology.
Maintain our administrative relationship with the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), onboarding diploma students and managing exam bookings and results.
Communicate exam schedules effectively with trainers and ensure students are well-prepared.
Provide operational support for onboarding NCTJ delegates and apprentices, maintaining clear, organised records.
Support compliance with ESFA funding rules through strong proficiency in BUD apprenticeship management software.
Manage Moodle, our digital learning environment, ensuring efficient content organisation and staff updates.
Oversee room bookings and maintain equipment at our Cannon Street training centre.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and clear thinking.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and eager to learn new technologies.
An effective communicator with strong written English skills.
A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others in a dynamic environment.
Confident and approachable, with great interpersonal skills.
Curious and committed to continuous learning, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when needed.
It would be an advantage to have some experience working in an education or training provider setting.
