We are an upcoming supplementary education provider based in the heart of Tower Hamlets (Mile End). We offer a range of tuition services including centre based group tuition and home tuition. As a growing company, we now require a full-time admin to carry out common office duties as well as supporting the director with other tasks to grow the company further.
Office Administrator Main Job Duties:
Answer queries via phone calls, emails, social media etc.
Maintain good rapport with our clients/visitors in person, online and via telephone
Maintain good rapport with our tutors in person, online and via telephone
Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
Filter through initial stage of tutor applications
Arrange interviews for approved tutor applications
Manage reception area and cater to queries from visitors/customers
Draft, format, and print relevant documents
Maintain database and records of students/tutors
Create student/tutor profiles on the company system
Enrolling new students onto tuition classes
Interact with directors and carry out their requests
Assist in purchase orders and invoicing
Photocopy/file appropriate documents as needed
Assist in managing social media profiles
Assist with other marketing tasks as required
Input records of tutors' time sheet into the company system
Invoice students through the company system
Please note, relevant training will be provided for all of above.
Qualities/skills required:
- Excellent communication skills in
English and Bengali
(due to high number of Bengali customers)
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft office programs
- Strong attention to detail
- Patient and positive attitude
- Ability to handle confidential information
Work Schedule
Mixture of Weekday and Weekend shifts.
Salary
Salary 11,960.00 - 17940.
Exact salary is dependant on age of applicant in accordance to minimum wage requirements.
