Modality Partnership Hull Division has a part-time vacancy (22.5 hours per week) for an Administrator. The postholder will work within Hull Division and provide a flexible, comprehensive admin resource to support the team in the provision of service delivery. Dealing with clinical and non-clinical colleagues in an efficient and polite manner. Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the service in accordance with procedures, protocols, and timescales. Main duties of the job
The role is an all-rounded, hands-on administration role; the postholder will need to confidently evidence and utilise key skills such as effective communication, processing of documents accurately and in a timely manner, and demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise the workload along with the wider team. The postholder will work in collaboration with local divisions (including Divisional Boards) and the National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovative ways of working to meet the strategic aims of the organisation.
The role is not a regular 9am-5pm job and is not a patient facing role as you will provide back-office administrative support to the division. The job requires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will be required to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks are completed.

To provide an efficient administrative service supporting all Modality Practices.
To support the administration of meetings across Practices including organising and arranging meetings, room/venue bookings, arranging catering/refreshments and attending and minuting meetings as required on behalf of the Division.
To assist clinical staff by preparing medical/insurance and other reports, tracking progress to ensure prompt turnaround and payment where appropriate.
To support clinical staff with the effective management of medical and insurance reports i.e., sending notes, checking notes, typing reports, tracking payments, requesting records transfers.
To assist Practices with the preparation and coordination of complaints responses and reports.
To support the Practices and Informatics team with outstanding call and recall actions including test result workflows linked to LTC management, coordination of childhood imms and cytology administration.
To support the Practices and Informatics team with the processing of activity claims.
To accurately record clinical activity on patient records, scan and file documents ensuring quality assurance processes are maintained.
To support the Division with effective stock ordering, processing all clinical and non-clinical orders in a timely manner.
To establish and maintain filing and administrative systems so that written or computer information is easily accessible and secure.
To assist with the gathering of statistics and information when required.
To attend meetings as required and participate in PLT sessions.
To participate in the induction and training of new team members to ensure they meet their objectives.
To ensure learning from individually attended training sessions is cascaded to all members of the team.
To provide cover for members of the central Clinical Support Team during periods of sickness and annual leave.
