Job Description

Fugro are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Marine Inspection and Monitoring Service Line, to be based in Aberdeen.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling various administrative responsibilities while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will be coordinating travel requests, raising purchase requests, assisting with client invoicing, tracking outstanding items, and managing meetings, appointments, and events. This role involves working closely with project engineering staff, suppliers, and internal stakeholders such as Finance and QHSSE.


Your role and responsibilities:

Processing and administration of all aspects of sales invoicing within the department to agreed timescales Monitoring payments due, carrying out routine follow-ups with clients, and reporting outcomes Coordinating travel requests and booking travel arrangements Administering visa and work permits according to business requirements Sourcing cost-effective suppliers and raising purchase orders Coordinating meetings, including lunch arrangements and team events Administering staff training and medical requirements. Handling export and import administration Performing other ad-hoc tasks and covering absences as necessary Promoting teamwork and maintaining quality standards

What you'll need to thrive in this role:

Previous administration experience Experience in sales invoice administration and debtor chase-ups Being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and ideally SharePoint) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be able to work independently and as part of a team A proactive and flexible approach to work
