Ayr Sheriff Cort are looking for a permanent part time administrative officer to join them.

This is a part time vacancy based on an average 17.5 hours per week. The working pattern is

Week 1 Monday to Tuesday 7 hours per day - 14 hours

Week 2 Wednesday - Friday 7 hours per day - 21 hours



Administrative Officers carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court or provide support to other functions within the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service. Some of the key responsibilities are:

To undertake a number of general administrative duties including:
Processing and distributing incoming mail to colleagues which comprises of writs, summonses, simplified divorces, enquiries and other documents. Creating and updating records on our in-house computer system and data input Producing court documents Preparing files for court hearings General photocopying and filing Dealing with numerical calculations Accounting for monies in accordance with financial guidelines Undertake light portering duties as required
