Administrative Assistant (maintenance & Compliance)

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our busy Maintenance and Compliance Team to help out with the behind the scenes administration that keeps the team running smoothly.

You will be responsible for maintaining clear, accurate records of the vital testing and reporting we do that keeps our properties safe and our residents secure.

You will also be working with our team of contractors booking appointments, ensuring their documentation is up to date and bringing new contractors onto our systems.

We are currently in the process of developing two new supported housing schemes in Gateshead and you will be involved in the administration involved in that, and you will help to administer a substantial grant we have received to help us make our properties more energy efficient.

Please note that this role is to provide maternity leave cover, initially until December 31st 2025
