McCrae Training is looking for an Administration Assistant Apprentice to join our growing team.

The Role:



The role will require working across all sections within the Operations Admin Department.

The role holder provides key daily support associated with planned and reactive activities within an office environment, from answering calls, filing, processing mail (in/out), to accurately processing training programmes via digital platforms and paper-based systems and invigilating training courses.

Due to the role being a junior position, this means that a comprehensive training and development programme will be completed, inclusive of a Diploma in Digital Applications Modern Apprenticeship.

The ideal candidate will be educated to National 5 as a minimum. They will have the ability to work closely with colleagues to meet business targets and to develop excellent working relationships with staff across the business and within our Learning & Development Centre, combined with our Skills Training Academy.

The role holder's responsibilities and accountabilities will be set out by their Line Manager, along with the provision of guidance and support from their Apprenticeship Assessor.

Confident and Outgoing High attention to detail Excellent timekeeping Professional and courteous Ability to complete allocated tasks in a timely, high quality and accurate manner Ensure work is completed in accordance with client, company, and awarding body standards and specifications Work independently and prioritise workload Good IT skills using Microsoft Office Applications, and to collect, organise, and present information clearly are all essential requirements of the job role holder. An organised and systematic approach to completing tasks Excellent communication skills Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Can operate in a fast-paced working environment Ability to effectively complete invigilation duties. - Some travel to client facilities may be required to complete invigilation of exams, with some occasional overnight stays. Willingness to learn and contribute to continual improvement, operating within an SME environment National 5 in English and Maths

Full Driving Licence National 5 in Administration & IT Higher or equivalent in English
