Wafer have been manufacturing and supplying ice cream cones and ice cream related products for 30+ years and are looking for a new admin assistant to join our friendly team! Wafer Enterprises Ltd aims to create a professional, courteous and friendly environment for all its customers. Key duties will include:
Provide administrative support to the sales department within the company.
Answering telephones, queries and providing assistance to sales reps out on the road\xc2\xb7
Respond to customer leads generated from online enquiries or leads from the office\xc2\xb7
Deal with new and repeat customers on a daily basis via telephone or e-mail for the purpose of processing new orders and upselling where possible.
Interact with the company\xe2\x80\x99s Production and Logistics teams to ensure customer orders can be processed and delivered in a timely manner and ensure customers are kept informed
Update and maintain customer and sales information on the company\xe2\x80\x99s customer database to ensure data remains current.\xc2\xb7
Update website\xc2\xb7
Creating social media content and mailshots

5 GCSEs including English ad Math
A minimum of 2 years experience in a busy multitasking admin environment
Proficient in using MS Office applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Creating and updating social media platforms including audio and video content
Desirable Criteria
Post Secondary education
Sage 50 or Sage 200 Software experience
Photoshop or other Design software qualification
Skills
Excellent telephone skills, especially dealing with customer queries
Good organizational skills, multi tasking, following SOPs , planning and time management
Work calmly under high pressure and time bound situations
Motivated, enthusiastic, problem solving using common sense
Social Media Savvy using various platforms
Effective Inter personal and communication skills - verbal and written
