Temporary Activities Coordinator - Bring Joy to Our Residents at Towy Castle

We're looking for a Temporary Activities Coordinator to join our friendly team at Towy Castle and help bring fun, engagement, and a real sense of community to our residents' lives.

Your Role

Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities. Encourage both group and one-to-one participation to build connections and confidence. Organise themed events, seasonal celebrations, and outings in the community. Foster links with local groups and welcome volunteers into our home. Collaborate closely with residents, families, and colleagues to create personalised, meaningful experiences. Keep simple records of activities, participation, and feedback to help us continually enhance our offering.

What We're Looking For

Friendly and Enthusiastic

- You love making people smile.

Experienced

- Ideally with experience in care, community work, or an activity-based role, especially supporting older adults or those living with dementia.

Creative and Resourceful

- You bring ideas to life, whether through art, music, storytelling, or simply finding new ways to engage.

Person-Centred

- You understand the importance of tailoring activities to individual needs and interests.

Organised and Confident

- Strong planning, communication, and record-keeping skills.

Safety-Aware

- Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and risk assessments (training can be provided).
