Hydon Hill is in a beautiful rural location outside Godalming in Surrey. Home for 46 adults with physical disabilities, it is a short drive from Guildford, with its shops, restaurants and leisure centre. We\xe2\x80\x99re also a short journey from South Coast, which is great for day trips.

As an Activities Worker with Leonard Cheshire at Hydon Hill in Surrey, your primary responsibility will be to assist in organising and conducting various social and recreational activities for the residents with physical disabilities. Your role will involve identifying suitable activities and events within the care home and in the local community to enhance their daily living experiences.

Additionally, you may be required to act as an escort or driver, as a car is necessary due to the remote location of the facility. This could involve transporting residents to appointments, outings, or day trips to the nearby South Coast.

Basic hourly rate - \xc2\xa310.90 per hour, up to \xc2\xa312.90 per hour with enhancement.

A night enhancement of \xc2\xa31.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of \xc2\xa32.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
