About the role:
This role will provide administrative support to the Accounts Receivable (Customer Accounts) Manager and nominated deputy by ensuring that key financial processes operate efficiently and that financial controls are maintained. The scope of the role covers the whole university including subsidiaries and associated organisations.
This postholder will support the Accounts Receivable Team with targeted collection and credit control activity. You will be contacting former and current students by phone and email to collect outstanding balances and set up agreed repayment plans. You will instruct third party collection agents as necessary.
About you:
A proactive person who works well to targets. Excellent communication skills both written and on the phone. Some experience of Credit Control or collection activities is essential. Applicants will need to have five GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above, including English and Maths together with an AAT Level 2 or technical qualification in a Finance or Business Administrative related field.
