The Bread Factory is London's leading Artisan Bakery, known for award-winning breads, pastries, and cakes, supplying top-quality products across e-commerce, grocery, food services, and retailers such as our GAIL's Bakeries nationwide. As our teams grow, we seek our next Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team.

Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:

Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, ensuring correct nominal coding Assisting with the preparation and execution of supplier payment runs Monthly supplier statement reconciliations Supporting month-end procedures, including reviewing and analysing GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) balances and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations Sending out supplier remittances promptly Dealing with supplier queries efficiently and professionally Liaising closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues


Our team tells us you will be a great addition if you have experience in:

Previous Accounts Payable experience is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, with strong proficiency in English High attention to detail, whilst being reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive Organised, with good awareness of deadlines Calm, professional manner when managing supplier queries Competent in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
