We are looking for a full time 6 month fixed term Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team at Student Roost

37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday

: 26,000 per annum pro rata to the length of contract

Key Responsibilities:
Invoice processing to monthly targets, matching to Purchase orders.
Processing payment runs to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
Completion of bank postings to the relevant accounts payable ledger.
Reconciliation of supplier accounts and following up with suppliers for missing invoices/information.
Query resolution, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including key suppliers, the Finance Team and Property Teams.
Support with ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Finance Team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Good communicator, confident in building internal and external relationships.
Highly organised, logical with a practical approach and able to prioritise effectively.
Acting with integrity, honesty, and discretion.

You will start to understand the culture and values of Student Roost and get to grips with the Accounts Payable process, buddying with an experienced team member who can show you what great looks like.
3 months:
You will have met and built strong high-quality relationships with our people, customers, clients, and colleagues, ensuring that invoices and payments are made within the process time frame.
6 months:
You will be well underway to being settled. You would have forged great working relationships and be the go to person to sort out Accounts Payable related queries.
