Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with our client, a high growth and well-known Top 40 firm of accountants with modern and fully equipped offices conveniently located on the outskirts of Luton, that are eager to appoint an experienced and qualified practice professional in the capacity of Client / Accounts Manager.

Role Requirements -

This role will take responsibility for a client portfolio to include LTD Co.s, LLPs, OMBs, sole traders and partnerships from a diverse range of industry sectors and of varying size and T/O.
Production and reviewing of Year-end Statutory accounts under FRS102-1A and FRS105 and associated corporation tax computations for the CT600 returns and onward submission to the HMRC.
Preparation and reviewing of SA100 personal tax self-assessment returns for individuals
Reviewing management accounts, month end reconciliations and bookkeeping work produced by the team.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with excellent service and advice.
Keeping up to date with changes to accounting standards and regulations and ensuring that clients are informed and compliant.
Supporting and reviewing work of more junior members of staff at the firm.

Person Requirements:

Ideally qualified (ACA/ACCA) with at least 4 years experience in a similar Client / Accounts Manager level role working for a UK based accountancy practice.
Strong technical accounting skills, including a good understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality accounting services in a timely manner.
Experience of reviewing the work of junior staff members and providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
Proficient in the use of various accountancy software such as CCH, IRIS, XERO, Sage, Quickbooks.
