Accounts Manager

Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established firm of chartered accountants that are eager to appoint an experienced and well qualified senior practice accounting professional with a dotted line to a director level role.

Role requirements -

Managing a diverse client portfolio ranging from small sole trader businesses to limited companies across various sectors and of differing turnovers
Prepare, review and filing of financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105 for limited companies.
Prepare and review financial statements for sole traders and partnerships.
Prepare, review and filing of corporation tax CT600 and VAT returns
Liaising with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of clients and supporting with any VAT enquiries.
Build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
Supporting, mentoring, and coaching trainee to senior accounts staff

Person Requirements -

Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5+ years\' experience working for a UK based accountancy practice at a Senior/Manager level.
Highly proficient in the use of IRIS, Xero as well as Virtual Cabinet
Excellent client relationship building qualities
Proven supervisory/managerial experience support a team of accounts staff.
