We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Accounts Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional clerical abilities and a solid understanding of administrative and finance functions. This role is crucial in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting the team in achieving their goals.
On Offer
The role of Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper will offer a salary between 30,000 - 34,500 per annum based on your experience.
The Role
The role of Accounts Manager is varied and wide-ranging that comes with lots of responsibility. Working with a portfolio of owner managed businesses / limited companies, you will play a key role in managing the financial process from start to finish.
The role will involve the following duties:
Maintaining books of accounts
Posting Customer & Supplier invoices
Knowledge of working with retailers portal would be desirable
Preparation of monthly Reports.
Liaise with external accountants for the finalisation of Management Accounts/ VAT Returns etc.
Preparation of Quarterly VAT returns
Liaising with Customers and suppliers regularly to reconcile their accounts.
Posting Bank entries & reconcile bank accounts.
Reconcile Factoring bank accounts.
Posting Journal entries for HP/ month end/ Wages etc
Create Management Reports related to Cash flow and Fund flow.
Prepare/Create Product Cost sheet for existing / NPD
Prepare monthly payroll for 40+ employees.
Closing Stock valuation
Carry out and/or supervise general accounting and administrative work.
Required Skills/Qualification
Graduation in accounting is preferred.
Experience in the use of Sage 50cloud Accounts Professional
Experience in the use of MS Office 365, particularly Excel.
Must be able to work independently with least supervision.
3+ years of experience in similar role is preferred.
Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
