We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts/Finance Assistant to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work for our group of companies in the hospitality, investment and property sector and grow your accounting career.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of accounts and bank statements
Collection of payments from clients
Creating quotes and invoices
Creating business plans
Processing lending applications
Reconciliation of Xero accounts
Submission of account returns
Submission of VAT returns
Creating cashflows and financial projections
Requirements:
Strong experience using Xero (Xero certification is preferable, or at least 2 years' experience).
A degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders.
An understanding of financial services and accounting principles.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Work Schedule:
Full-time.
