Are you an accounts assistant or similar, ready to step into a senior position, where you will have a highly varied role within a successful engineering company, working with a vibrant and friendly team which will support you to develop your skills further?

You will be responsible for overseeing a number of key financial tasks, you will be helping to manage the day-to-day financials of the business, where you will be managing sales invoices, balance ledger, expenses, CIS, alongside working with the financial manager on month end reporting.

The role:

  • Daily and monthly sales reporting and any follow up required.
  • Daily bank statement reconciliations
  • Process weekly supplier and miscellaneous bacs payments.
  • Process monthly petty cash
  • Process monthly company credit card and other expense claims
  • Assist the accounts payable and receivable function
  • Raising all direct post invoices and credit notes.
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the Financial Manager
  • Data entry into Sage
The person:
  • AAT level 3 qualified
  • Experienced with Sage
