We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to assist in the running of the Finance department. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers and a desire to build a career in accounting. You will enjoy a varied role working on a wide range of tasks, such as:

Processing purchase invoices and accurately tracking delivery notes and credit notes. Processing of sales invoices Assisting with month-end procedures Accurately recording accounts information in SAGE Liaising with suppliers and customers Provide support associated with the management of the company accounts Learn to be able to undertake all responsibilities, including balancing accounts, VAT returns, payroll and Inland Revenue returns
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Accounts qualification an advantage Knowledge and previous experience in using SAGE accounting system particularly Purchase Ledger Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Good computer skills including accounts package, MS Office and inhouse CRM system Excellent attention to details and organisation skills Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external) Be able to effectively prioritise tasks and be good at time management
