We are currently seeking an Invoicing / Data Entry Clerk to join our finance team. You'll play a key role in supporting the accounting department by managing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth financial operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you'll handle essential finance and administrative tasks to keep our financial records organised and up to date. Key responsibilities include:
Processing a large volume of sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients
Maintaining and updating financial records and databases
Responding to internal and external enquiries related to accounts and financial transactions
Performing general administrative duties, including filing and documentation
Ensuring adherence to company policies in all financial transactions
What We're Looking For:
To succeed as an Invoicing / Data Entry Clerk, you'll need strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. We're looking for someone who:
Has a relevant certification (such as AAT) or equivalent experience in finance
Is proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Has experience with Sage (essential); familiarity with Uptick (desirable)
Possesses strong numerical and analytical skills
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy in their work
Has effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Can manage time well and work independently as well as part of a team
