Accounts Assistant Southampton, Hampshire Full time, permanent Salary \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa325-30k DOE \xe2\x80\x98Feeding Tradition, Fostering Quality\xe2\x80\x99 Our client Yau Brothers & Co Limited is an authentic Chinese one-stop supermarket and wholesaler, offering a rich and diverse range of Asian cuisine and ingredients to Chinese food industry (including oriental restaurants and takeaways). They provide an extensive selection of products, from fresh vegetables and exotic fruits to dried goods, sweet treats and an array of spices - sourced from trusted suppliers who adhere to the highest quality standards. They are now seeking a proactive and organised Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team based in Southampton, Hampshire. Reporting to Financial Controller, you will be assisting with a range of financial and administrative duties. Accounts Assistant, the role:

• Coding and posting of purchase/sales ledger invoices and related payments/receipts
• Reconciling bank and supplier accounts
• Bookkeeping entries/journal vouchers
• Stock Counting and Stock Control/KPIs
• Assisting with preparation of monthly management reports
• Calculating and processing expense claims
• Investigating and resolving debt and payment queries
• Managing Credit Control

Accounts Assistant, the person:

• Previous experience in a similar role is a must
• AAT Qualification \xe2\x80\x93 qualified or partly qualified
• Understanding of computing-based Accounting Systems (SAP Business One would be ideal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Package
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
• An organised, diligent individual with a good eye for detail
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to speak Chinese would be beneficial
