Job Title: Accounts AssistantLocation: Lynchwood, PeterboroughContract: PermanentSalary: From xc2xa324,000 per annumHours: Full Time, Monday - FridayOur client in Peterborough has an outstanding opportunity for an Accounts Assistant. The ideal candidate with some accounts experience will join one of the fastest growing law firms in Peterborough.As an Accounts Assistant, youll deal with a variety of tasks such as:Processing client and office account payments.Processing electronic and cheque receipts into the client and office accounts, ensuring prompt and accurate allocation.Daily and monthly client and office account bank reconciliations.Invoicing.Maintaining client ledgers.Adhering to SRA Accounts Rules.Archiving and general administration duties.Audit and general control reviews.Ensuring daily tasks are met and working within a team.The role will be varied, with the opportunity to learn all aspects of the finance function which is a great platform to really excel into a finance professional role. Full training will be provided along with supervision and support.The ideal candidate will have:A background in accounting/finance.Excellent communicative ability with an outgoing personality.Strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills.Good knowledge of Excel.Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.Proactive with a willingness to take on new challenges.Articulate with a strong eye for detail.Ability to pick things up quickly whilst maintaining accuracy.Additional Information:25 days standard holiday allocation plus 8 days public holiday.On Site ParkingOffice BasedPET1
