New Accounts Assistant opportunities within the client focused team of this award-winning CA firm in Edinburgh. Working as part of an established team of trainee and qualified accountants, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and work hard to ensure accounting workflow and deadlines are met to fulfil their needs. You may be involved with bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation tasks, depending on your skillset and interests. You will also enjoy many opportunities to build on your existing knowledge and benefit from mentoring and support from a friendly, like-minded team.

You will also have the opportunity to support senior team members with ad hoc advisory work, and contribute to the team\xe2\x80\x99s focus on continuously building and improving technical knowledge and commercial awareness. In turn, you must be an excellent problem solver with good time management and communication skills.

You must have a minimum of 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 accounting and/or bookkeeping experience, preferably attained within an accountancy practice environment. Experience of cloud accounting solutions would be advantageous. It is essential that you can demonstrate initiative, strong analytical skills and good attention to detail.
