Accounts Assistant

Salary up to \xc2\xa330,000
CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our clients organization, supporting the financial operations and providing valuable assistance to our clients. With your exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical skills, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Preparing sole trader and partnership accounts from source records
- Compiling limited company statutory financial statements from source records
- Handling VAT returns and ensuring accurate submissions
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Conducting various bookkeeping tasks, such as sales and purchase ledger maintenance, as well as bank reconciliation
To excel in this position, we require individuals with the following experience and skills:
- Proven experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and strong computer literacy
- Familiarity with accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, and QuickBooks (training provided)
Location
The Bridgwater location offers a convenient commute for candidates residing in surrounding towns, including Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Yeovil, and Glastonbury.
Salary
- Range between \xc2\xa317- \xc2\xa330k depending on experience
