Job Description

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a manufacturing company based in Belfast to recruit for an accounts assistant on a full time, permanent basis!

This role is responsible for providing accounts support for the shared services function. You will work across all companies and with duties covering all aspects of the function, this allows for a very varied and diverse role within the group.

You will work alongside the Group Assistant Accountant and general duties will involve:

• Bank reconciliation including petty cash
• Weekly and monthly management reports
• Weekly and monthly payroll duties
• Manage and maintain invoice discounting system for the entire group including day to day transactions and audits
• Manage and maintain company credit cards including reconciliations
• Management and submission of applicable HMRC and other statutory returns
• Supplier query resolution
• Supplier payment processing
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT skills - especially Excel
• Commercial acumen
• Positive attitude
