WR Logistics are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller- Accounts Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 AAT in Hilsea, Portsmouth.

This is an exciting permanent opportunity to join a busy logistics company within the accounts department based in Hilsea, Portsmouth.

Hours and Pay for Accounts Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 AAT

• Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday
• 0830 \xe2\x80\x93 1730 \xe2\x80\x93 One hour lunch
• 20 Days annual leave
• \xc2\xa328,000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa330,000 (depending on experience)

Duties and responsibilities for Accounts Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 AAT

• Daily allocation of receipts via Cheques or BACs received.
• Reporting of paid proformas to the relevant departments
• Setting up of new customer accounts and maintaining existing account details
• Raise and send monthly statements each month.
• Taking payments from customers over the phone via PDQ machine
• Resolving all associated credit control queries and escalation problematic accounts to Senior Credit Controller
• Data entry
• Being point of contact for all relevant enquires.
• Liaising with managers of different departments to ensure any queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Other ad hoc office duties to help within a busy account department.

Skills and Requirements

• Previous experience in job roles such as Credit Controller/Accounts Receivable or similar.
• Previous experience in Sage 200 and Sage 50 preferable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to deal with customers via telephone and email.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, confident, and persistent
