In January 2024, Trident Racing Supplies joined the Old Hall Performance organisation, combining a wealth of motorsport engineering experience, offering a comprehensive selection of aircraft fasteners, specialty nuts, bolts, washers, hoses, tapes, adhesives, chemicals, lubricants, custom seat materials, as well many other specialist accessories for the motorsport sector.
Trident Racing Supplies is based in Unit 23 at the Silverstone Business Park, the home of British motorsport. Trident have over 30 years selling speciality fasteners used in preparation, repair & restoration of all types of competition vehicles. Our team has direct experience with the latest GT sports & prototypes, Formula, Touring cars, Historic, Rally, Drag Racing, Karting and more. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts and Admin Assistant to join our team and support our financial and administrative operations.
Position Overview:
The Accounts and Admin Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative functions within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Handle general administrative duties, including managing office supplies, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review.
Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of office systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an accounts or administrative role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in Automotive / is a plus but not required.
