We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting software and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all financial transactions.
Responsibilities
Generating and sending invoices to customers.
Oversee contract proposals and ensure these are delivered as required.
Assisting the Directors and Consultants in project delivery
Chasing sales quotations
Ensuring that an organization's customers pay their invoices on time and in full - maintaining average time to pay and company debts
Chasing up late payment - Manage invoicing and statement process
Negotiating payment plans.
Issuing legal proceedings when necessary.
Addressing and resolving payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues.
Investigate and resolve all customer queries, including account reconciliations
Qualifications
Proven experience in an accounts administration or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
