Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to enhance financial performance. This role requires a strong background in financial accounting and management, as well as proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Oversee budgeting processes and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Ensure the integrity of financial data through regular audits and reconciliations. Mentor and develop junior accounting staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business growth. Utilise accounting software such as Sage and Xero to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Skills

Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Experience in the financial services sector is advantageous. Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly Sage and Xero. Excellent mentoring abilities to guide team members effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial management. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
