We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Accountant within our Finance team. In a nutshell you will be responsible for: Supporting the day to day running of the finance department. Working closely with key stakeholders across the site and across the region, ensuring that all activities comply with all relevant regulations laws, FBHS policies and reporting requirements. What you are already great at:

• Bank Reconciliations \xe2\x80\x93 Multi-currencies
• Journal processing
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Month End close \xe2\x80\x93 2 days close.
• Inter-company Reconciliation and agreements for the V&A group
• Overseeing of payroll
• Supervising Accounts Payable
• HMRC Reporting, VAT returns, P11d, P46 & PSA
• Maintaining fixed assets register
• KPI analysis and Cost center reporting
• Supporting of plans and forecasts
• Supporting with yearend statutory requirements, liaising with auditors

For this role we would need you to demonstrate:

• A robust knowledge of how to consistently deliver legal compliance and statutory governance.
• AAT or CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified with exposure to a manufacturing & distribution environment.
• Strong analytical skills
• Be a confident communicator
• Able to work cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders.
• You will have strong Excel skills
• Be comfortable handling, formatting, and analysing data.
• Have knowledge of Sage 300, SAP and ideally EFACS
