Job Description

Our excellent accountancy client in Minchinhampton is currently looking for an Accountant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis as they experience growth. The company provides regular accounting, monthly accounting, payroll, and tax services to a variety of clients from small sole traders through to international companies.

This role requires a solid knowledge of Tax and previous hands-on Accounts/Bookkeeping experience. In return you will have the opportunity progress your career into senior management, potentially through to board level as this company grows and expands their reach.

Responsibilities:

-Prepare year end statutory accounts for review, including all reconciliations/returns (non-audit).

-Offer tax advice to partnerships/companies/individuals including year-end computations and returns.

-Charity accounts/returns.

-New business development and customer relations.

-Review of management and statutory accounts produced by other team members.

-Provide technical support as necessary across the team split over different offices.

-Maintain regular contact with clients over the phone, email and face-to-face when necessary

-Prepare traditional accounts (e.g. incomplete records or \xe2\x80\x9cbox\xe2\x80\x9d jobs).

-General management tasks alongside senior colleagues.

-For a select number of Clients, preparation of ongoing management/financial accounts, including VAT and standard reconciliations (mostly using Sage)

Key Attributes:

-Tax knowledge (both sole trader and personal)

-Previous Accounts/Bookkeeping experience

-Friendly, team player

-Computer literate

Hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 9am \xe2\x80\x93 5pm (37.5 hrs total) \xe2\x80\x93 Part-time or reduced hours will also be considered so please do still apply if you are interested.

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa360,000 per annum + benefits including 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (to increase over time), BUPA Healthcare, flexibility on hours.
