Job Title: Accountant

Location: Home-Based (with occasional UK travel)

Salary: EUR62,000 per annum

, a leading player within intralogistics, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Accountant

to join their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to take on a dynamic role supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight:

Maintain and manage accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support business strategy.

Reporting:

Produce timely and accurate financial statements including balance sheets, income, and cash flow reports.

Audit Support:

Liaise with internal and external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance.

Tax & Compliance:

Ensure tax planning and compliance across VAT, corporate tax, RCT, Intrastat, PAYE, and more.

Payroll Review:

Conduct thorough checks of payroll files for accuracy and compliance.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Partner with other teams to provide financial insights and guidance.

Customer Invoicing:

Assist with the preparation and issue of customer invoices.

Purchase Invoices:

Review monthly purchase invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

ACA or ACCA qualified.

Experience:

Extensive background in accounting and finance, gained within the Irish market and across similar sectors. Demonstrated expertise in Irish Taxation, including VAT and RCT compliance, is essential.

Systems Knowledge:

Proficiency in Microsoft ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Skills:

Analytical, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and time-management abilities.

Work Ethic:

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
