Lightbulb Credit is a rapidly growing, profitable FinTech backed by private equity, with ambitious growth targets. We are a credit review, improvement and monitoring business with unique offerings that are helping SME's to PLC's alike optimise and monitor their credit ratings.

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified, having completed their qualification within the last three years at a top 25 accountancy firm. This role is best suited for an individual with a strong understanding of private equity, complex reorganisations, and corporate restructuring. The candidate should also possess an entrepreneurial attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role offers an excellent foundation for those looking to build a career in Advisory.

Key Responsibilities



Collaborate closely with the Operations team to support our customers in developing financial data packs. Provide analytical support for trade credit insurance, ensuring accurate financial data is available to mitigate risk. Work with clients to assess financial structures, offering insights into private equity investments and restructuring strategies. Assist in the interpretation and presentation of financial data for internal and external stakeholders. Engage with trade credit insurers and other financial institutions to facilitate structured financial solutions. Conduct due diligence and financial assessments in relation to business reorganisations. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements



ACA or ACCA qualified, with qualification obtained within the last two years from a top 25 accountancy firm. Strong understanding of private equity, complex reorganisations, and corporate restructuring. Experience in working with trade credit insurance is advantageous but not essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients and stakeholders. Proficiency in financial modelling, reporting, and data analysis. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
