Frixos Metalworks Ltd is a family-owned business that has been thriving since 1978. We operate a busy manufacturing plant dedicated to supplying high-quality structural and architectural metalwork items to a diverse range of clients.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Accounts Receivable including applications, certifications and invoicing.

Assist Head of Finance in Project Forecasting, Costing and Profitability

Assist with variance analysis and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and income statements.

Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors where necessary.

Help in the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of payroll and employee records.

Ad-hoc support with accounts payable.

Skills and Qualifications:

Part-qualified (or actively studying towards) ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Steel fabrication, metalwork or construction business experience preferred

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage and Eque2).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

A proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
