Account Manger required to join a leading healthcare communications and animation agency.
This is a unique & interesting opportunity for a skilled account manager to join the sales & marketing team within a global leading medical communications agency. Slightly different from the norm, this role is not focused on the delivery but more on client expansion and business development.

As an Account Manager, you will oversee the operations dedicated to the companies top 25 pharmaceutical clients. Your role involves targeting and acquiring new projects, leveraging your industry knowledge and staying abreast of pharmaceutical trends. Maintaining relationships with key clients and serving as their primary point of contact is paramount.
Your Responsibilities:
Grasp the market, our products, and our customer value proposition.
Identify and qualify leads matching our customer profile.
Cultivate relationships with potential pharmaceutical clients.
Deliver capability presentations to new and existing clients confidently.
Develop proposals for potential projects.
Prepare RFI/RFP presentations independently.
Facilitate internal discussions and tailor offerings to client needs.
Utilize past project knowledge in future calls and pitches.
Support kick-off and ongoing project calls.
Collaborate with senior team members in negotiating project terms.
Stay proactive in response to campaign and medical marketing news.
Maintain account mapping by brand/product.
Manage key databases and initiatives (CRM Salesforce and GoogleDocs).
Effectively communicate with relevant team members throughout the company.
Assess the broader sales and marketing strategy with the AD\'s assistance.
Proactively update team members on market and client changes.
Act as a mentor/line manager for AE/SAE as required.
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a life sciences BSc and/or MSc and aspire to advance in medical communications.
Approximately 2-3 years of experience at another medical communications agency at the SAE or AM level or client-facing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong desire to excel in business development and account management with a commercial mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable with presenting both online and in person.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
