Rockwell Automation are looking for a UK Account Manager (Food & Beverage, Home Health Personal Care), who has passion for creating unique solutions, which can make a big difference for our customers development. You will get the opportunity to work with a large portfolio of well-established market leading companies where you will be able to use your expertise to assist some of the most interesting industry projects in the UK by developing their business through Rockwell\xe2\x80\x99s market leading solutions.

You will become part of Rockwell Automation UK and will have about 400 local highly qualified co-workers in a professional and informal work environment. We will take you through a thorough and structured introduction to our processes capabilities, products, systems, Industrial IIOT including MES/MOM, Analytics, AR, AI, and Network Security & Safety.

Short Role description

This is a key position, where you will drive, ongoing strategic business growth initiatives and leading the continued development in Scotland and Northern England. In your daily work, you will be responsible for growing sales and continue to build a solid relationship with our existing and new customers. In cooperation with a strong team of technicians, product specialists, Information System specialist and partners you participate in the entire process from idea development and negotiation to delivery, you will engage in and continue to build a solid relationship to all stakeholders from C-level to implementers.

The role

  • Strong focus on selling the Connected Enterprise, Rockwell Automation\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of solutions covering all parts of automation from Smart machines and turn-key process solutions to safe network infrastructure to information solutions.
  • You will be the specialist within your area and part of our EMEA Consumer affinity team.
  • You will receive a portfolio of existing customers including many that are part of our Global Strategic and Enterprise accounts. There will also be new and development customers.
  • Full responsibility to develop strong longstanding relations at customers up to C-level, in eco-system and the industry.
  • You will be the first point of contact for the customer supported by a strong team of technical consultants, product specialist, industry specialist and solution delivery team will be part of the full process from initial presentation, concept development, negotiation to delivery and follow-up to future maintenance, service and upgrading.
Your Skills
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Account Management in an Industrial Automation environment. Candidates with less experience and the right skillset and motivation could be considered for the role.
  • A strong commercial mindset and proven successful sales development.
  • Technical education and experience in selling solutions to the Food & Beverage/Home Health Personal Care Industry or equivalent.
  • Can understand and engage in dialogue about customers Business Plans for the development of their automation solutions.
  • Experience of doing business and create relations with decision makers such as Site Managers, EHS Manager, Operations Manager and Engineering Manager.
  • Leads the Customer Service Value Chain throughout the complete Sales Cycle.

  • Strategic Business & financial acumen.
  • Excellent business communication skills (presenting, active listening and written) to foster an open environment and an excellent work culture.
  • Proven experience and results working with Senior Leaders and stakeholders.

  • Ability to motivate others.
Your Profile
  • Self-motivated with the ability to develop an effective internal network in a matrix-based organization.
  • A proven track record of delivering sales results and meeting commitments.
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Legal authorization to work in Great Britain is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
