About the role
An exciting opportunity to join Balfour Beatty Regional Civils business at a time of growth. We are the leading contractor in Flood and Coastal Risk management and with the ever-growing focus on climate resilience and adaptation we are looking to strengthen our team with a senior appointment to head up our future strategy and account management alongside our Sector lead.
The FCERM Account Lead will be responsible for supporting the leadership team and working alongside the sector lead to develop and implement the sector strategy for Balfour Beatty across the UK. This will consist of:
- Developing the FCERM business strategy including the emerging climate resilience market, focussing on identification of new target markets, identifying and engaging target customers and business opportunities.
- Driving business development activities for the sector by engaging to influence procurement routes and commercial models, identifying target customers and maintain a target opportunity pipeline for the BU strategy pipeline and support conversion.
- Be accountable for the national account management activities by coordinating team interaction to meet relationship goals and maximise collaboration across the group; manage customer expectations & relationships from win business through to delivery, retaining the customer following the achievement of expectations.
