Academic Support Mentor - Stanley (DH9) - Full Academic Year - Sep 2023 Start

i-teachers are currently working with an excellent secondary school based In the Stanley area who are looking to find a superb Academic Support Mentor to work across their specialist subject inside of either their English, Maths or Science department for the coming academic year.

In this role as an Academic Support Mentor, you will be working within the schools KS3 & KS4 department planning and conducting individual and group support sessions based within your specialist subject inside and out of the classroom for the full academic year.

Academic Support Mentor - Role Information:

• Full academic year
• Located in Stanley (DH9)
• Based in one secondary school for full year
• Working hours: 08.30am - 15.00pm
• Paid \xc2\xa3450 per week during term time
• FREE access to multiple Online CPD College courses
• Planning and conducting 1:1 sessions around EHCP
• Working directly with pupil inside and out of classroom

Academic Support Mentor - Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 English, Maths or Science degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience mentoring, tutoring or volunteering
• Passionate about your specialist subject
• Naturally warm and engaging personality
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to develop rapport with people quickly
