Job Description

AB required to join a Research Survey vessel operating out of North Wales.

This a permanent position.

Candidates should hold the following:

\xe2\x80\x93 AB CoC, along with Nav Watch Rating certificate.

\xe2\x80\x93 Basic STCW\xe2\x80\x99s at a minimum, however it would be desirable if candidates held Advanced Fire Fighting, Fast Rescue Boat & Medical First Aid.

\xe2\x80\x93 Fishing and trawling experience would be helpful as this is a hands-on role.

\xe2\x80\x93 Crane driving experience needed.

General work arrangements will be 1/1 under a UK contract.

Usual deployments are anywhere from 4-8 weeks with layup in between voyages which are also required to be covered. During layup 1 x AB and 1 x Engineer are onboard only.

Travel covered. 183 days\xe2\x80\x99 vacation. Financial bonuses after completing 6 months and after first year.

Salary: \xc2\xa324,500.

• STCW : A-VI 2-1 Proficiency in Survival Craft, Rescue Boats Other Than Fast Rescue Boats (PSC&RB)
• STCW : A-VI 2-2 Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (PFRB)
• STCW : A-VI 3 Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF)
• STCW : A-VI 4-1 Proficiency in Medical First Aid (MFA)

Experience Required

Fishing/trawling experience is desirable.
