Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 7.5T Hire Driver/ Tester to join our Sheffield team. The successful candidate will ensure our hire equipment is delivered on our 7.5T Beaver-tailed vehicle, prepared, and maintained to the highest standards for our customers. This role requires prior hire equipment experience and the physical capacity for heavy lifting.

Hours

Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm 42.5 hours (1 hour unpaid break) and 16 Saturdays 8.00 am to 12.00pm

Responsibilities

Ensuring all hire equipment is prepared correctly before each hire and is ready for re-hire as required by the branch Ensuring all post hire checks are carried out and any damage/missing items/faults are clearly identifiable on the machine and reported to the mechanical fitter/branch manager in a timely fashion. Assisting customers/drivers/counter staff with loading and unloading equipment. Delivering & collecting hire equipment to customers Providing excellent customer service in accordance with Frank Key values and to promote the Company's good image at all times. Adherence to Health and Safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Requirements

Clean Manual Driving Licence C1 and CPC Previous experience of working with hire and plant equipment is preferred. Basic ability to inspect and maintain mechanical equipment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
