We are recruiting 5 x 7.5t drivers for our well-known, nationwide distribution business in Wednesbury.
This is a temp to permanent opportunity.
Pay Rate: \xc2\xa313.00 per hour
Hours of work: Variable \xe2\x80\x93 7 am start time
Days of work: 5on/3 off shift pattern (will involve working weekend shifts)
The Role:
- Double manned home delivery of electrical products such as TVs, washing machines, fridge freezers etc\xe2\x80\xa6.. (lifting is involved although relevant manual handling equipment/aids are provided)
- Ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time
- Making a pre delivery phone call to each customer
- Providing excellent customer service
- Where necessary, unpacking products and removing waste
- Training provided
- 7.5T (category C1) license or higher
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Driver CPC (DQC Card)
- Tachograph card
- Be physically fit
- Be of good appearance
- 7.5t driving experience (assessment will be carried out)
- Clear criminal record (DBS check will be carried out prior to employment)
